Hot & Humid Summer Day

I think I have a slight obsession with Charleston!!  Sorry not sorry. It was really fun playing tourist.  When I walk around with my camera bag and cameras, I feel like everyone will stare at me and cuss me out saying how much of a tourist I am, but I just can’t help but want to photograph all of the places around me. It’s just so cute. So, yes. I’m such a tourist and honestly, if I lived there, I’d probably still bring a three kind’s of cameras with me. (life of a blogger. ha)  Charleston has really awesome shops. It reminds me of an outdoor mall, just the stores are in much cooler buildings.  The only ‘flaw’ in the whole trip was the weather. Beautiful day, but the humidity was killer. Welcome to the South baby!  My entire face was coming off. Literally, I had makeup dripping off my face. It was extremely hot and humid. My hair had to be off my shoulders or that would just add to the heat. (long hair probs. lol) And between you and me, I had to wear the blue button down because I was disgustingly sweaty. (fashion tip… if it’s going to be hot. DO NOT under any circumstances wear gray.  It’s a sweat catastrophe waiting to happen. And you know, I’d love to be one of those girls and say, “I don’t sweat, I sparkle”, but no, this girl does not sparkle, I full on sweat… like a pig. Sorry gross I know!)   If you haven’t been to Charleston, go. You will have a day of fun and a day of working out. You’ll walk 5 miles and sweat like a pig. That counts as working out in my book. 😉 I hope that everyone had a safe and super awesome fourth of July!  Also, leading to my question, I’ve tried a few setting sprays and I love Urban Decay Setting spray but I’ve only tried squirt samples at Sephora.  I have a drug store brand and I don’t think it works that well. If anyone of you don’t sparkle and just full on sweat like me, what is your favorite setting spray to use for hot and humid summer days?! Thanks so much for reading!

I went to Charleston last year for my family reunion and I swear the history of the city is what interests me the most. The different historical sites you can visit really give you something to look forward to learning about. And of course the historical architecture is amazing also. Hope you’re enjoying your trip Em!!!
